Banana brownies (including recipe)

Yes! Another baking adventure, and I am getting better at this! We are currently staying in Pristina, and to be honest there is not a lot to do over here. Boredom equals snacking, so today I am baking banana brownies! Yum! These brownies contain NO sugar and are based on ripe bananas!

With this recipe I wasn’t looking for a healthy or vegan version, but for a version with things I almost always have in the house. I tried to create an easy recipe, because I am a (very) lazy cook!

What do you need to make the brownies? You need ripe bananas, eggs, butter, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, all purpose flour, and dark chocolate chips. As you know, I like to put everything ready beforehand. It is easier.

How to make my banana brownies? Well, very easy! Preheat the oven first at 175 C. You mash the bananas, mix them with the eggs and melted butter. Whisk everything together and add the dry, sifted ingredients.

Create a smooth mixture and add half of the chocolate chips to it. Divide the mixture evenly into a brownie tin/tray and sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips on top.

Put it into the oven for about 30 minutes. Take them out, let it cool off and enjoy!

You can find the full recipe here.

  1. Banana brownies sound good to me I have just had to make oreo brownies(granddaughters) request and post them to her needless to say far too sweet for me but if you love oreos I suppose they are good…I’ll stick to brownies with walnuts or maybe now with bananas..nice recipe, Renee πŸ™‚
