I can’t help it, but my first thought is to write something funny. It is so tempting, but I will take this one a bit more seriously. Just because it is such a good question: ‘What is my favorite part about myself?’ Okay, here we go! 

What I like about myself is that I am a loving and forgiving person. Is it weird to say that about yourself? I don’t want to come across as arrogant, but it is what I genuinely believe about myself.

As I wrote in previous posts, it is really important to me to love and forgive. Why? Because life is already hard enough, there is no reason to make it even harder on each other, is it?

I want the people around me to feel supported by me in what they do and more importantly in who they are! That is all I wanted in life as well, for people to accept me for who I am. You might think that is not hard to do, but unfortunately I have a lot of experiences in my life where people didn’t accept me for who I was. That hurts and I would never want to give another person the same feeling!

I remember saying to my Mom not too long ago, that it feels that I have so much love inside of me, I am almost going to burst! I want my loved ones to feel that I am there for them, to listen when they have problems, to be a cheerleader when they need it, to love them unconditionally and most importantly, to forgive them for what they say or do. Everyone has their struggles in life, me too, but I had so many wonderful people around me, loving me, supporting me, and forgiving me. I can honestly say that I am a very blessed person!

I realize very well that this isn’t always easy to do, and not everyone feels the same way, but if you are my friend or family, I will support you, accept you for who you are, and love you no matter what! Hmmm, in the end this became more of an appreciation post for my family and friends, then to write about the original topic, but you know what? They deserve it!
